The Master of Real Estate (Sustainable Development) provides comprehensive skill development for practitioners seeking to adapt to the changing environment and establish a leadership position. The program focuses on providing multiple skills, increasing knowledge and enhancing understanding to capitalise on real estate opportunities in a changing economic landscape.
Work Experience and Internships
Internships and work placements are encouraged. They provide students with the opportunity to apply skills and knowledge learnt while studying and maximise opportunities for career progression after they complete their studies. An Industry Placements Officer assists students in sourcing work experience and internship opportunities.
The Master of Real Estate will provide you with powerful, high level skills needed to establish leadership within the real estate industry. Multiple, cutting edge skills in real estate, finance, valuation and strategy are in high demand. Investors, superannuation funds and asset managers are seeking skilled practitioners to maximise asset returns and this is requiring increasingly complex skills to provide sustainable competitive advantage. The program is designed to provide skills that can be applied across global real estate markets.
The Master of Real Estate (Sustainable Development) has international accreditation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
A minimum of 2 years professional experience in your chosen field as well as successful completion of any undergraduate degree and / or relevant professional experience deemed equivalent by the Institute’s Director.
Credit for Prior Study
Subject credits may be awarded for previous studies. To apply for credits, you will need to submit academic transcripts including detailed course outlines/subject descriptions for each relevant subject and/or certified copies of testamurs to your Admissions Manager during your interview.
